School: Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Business Studies, Year 1
SAS: 2SAS
Experience in SAS:
I had a lot of fun and I learnt a lot about not only space but the technologies used in space engineering as well. Besides the theory, I loved the practical sessions such as the launching of the water rockets and the outdoor activities such as Paintball, the dive session at the NDU. I was forced to step out of my comfort zone but we really bonded through these sessions!

Experience in SAS:
It was one of the best moments in my life. SAS provided me an opportunity to experience stuff ordinary people would not have done.
The instructors did an extremely good job of sharing their experiences while working a
t NASA as well as educating us in all things related
to space and astronaut training. Going into this course, I expected it to be somewhat dry and boring, however my opinions changed instantly
after day 1. Overall, it had a good balance of fun, interaction and education between instructors and students.
Favourite Memory from SAS:
Paint ball(team building exercise), Diving(zero gravity simulation), flying the UAV. These activities are not placed in any particular order.
Hobbies and Interest:
Sports, Food, Piano, Music, Performing Arts, Reading, Watching Movies, Flying.

My experience SAS:
It was an amazing experience that I would recommend for anybody who is interested in anything to do with space or even general interests in science or
engineering. The lecture followed by activity format was very effective allowing immediate application of the well taught theory with interesting and
challenging activities.
My favorite activity:
Was the water rocket building and launch, this was because we were able to use the same rocketry equations used by NASA on our little model rockets
successfully. The off sight visits were also fascinating, especially the visit to CREST where we saw the command and control center for Singapore first satellite.
It was a fun, fast-paced and interesting week that gave a glimpse into the complex world of NASA and rocket science.
